ATM10: To The Sky Starter Guide

All The Mods 10: To The Sky takes the ATM10 mod list and drops it into a void skyblock, where every resource has to be generated rather than mined. The opening hours play completely differently from regular ATM10, and they are where most players either fall in love with the pack or fall off the island. This guide covers those hours.

How TTS differs from regular ATM10

Same mods, inverted economy. In regular ATM10 you mine the world for resources; in To The Sky the world is empty and resources come from generation loops you build yourself. The quest book is restructured around this and is far more prescriptive in the early game than the regular pack's: on TTS, the quest book is not a suggestion, it is the tech tree.

If a step in this guide ever disagrees with the quest book in your version of the pack, trust the quest book. TTS updates tune the early loop regularly.

First hour: do not gamble with gravity

Your starting island is small and the void is patient. The first hour is about establishing safety and the most basic loops before you expand.

  • Sneak while building at edges; falling in the first hour usually means restarting momentum
  • Get a cobblestone generator running immediately; stone is your land, not just your material
  • Turn early saplings and crops into a renewable food line before hunger becomes a tax
  • Follow the quest book's opening chapter in order; the rewards are tuned to bootstrap you

Expand the platform methodically rather than in thin bridges. Wide floors are cheap in cobble and they turn later automation from a balancing act into normal base building.

The early resource loop

TTS's early game runs on converting renewable basics into everything else: wood, cobble and crops in, ores and rare materials out. The pack gives you skyblock resource mods for exactly this, and the quest book walks you through each converter as it becomes relevant. The pattern to internalise is that every new material type gets its own small production loop, and loops compound.

  • Wood first: trees are the seed of most early recipes, so overbuild your tree farm
  • Scale cobble generation past what feels reasonable; every loop downstream eats stone
  • Set up the pack's ore-generation route as soon as the quest book unlocks it
  • Keep one chest of every intermediate; TTS recipes love asking for yesterday's byproduct

From island to factory

Once ores flow, TTS converges on regular ATM10: ore processing, power, digital storage, Mystical Agriculture and the Allthemodium arc all arrive on schedule, just fed by generators instead of mineshafts. From this point our regular ATM10 progression guide applies almost verbatim, including the road to the ATM Star.

The one lasting difference is spatial: your factory shares an island with everything else. Plan districts early, because moving a mature automation line over the void is nobody's idea of fun.

Playing TTS on a server

On the SiriusMC TTS server every player or team gets their own protected island world, so your build is safe and your neighbours' lag is not your problem. The shared economy and player shops matter more on skyblock than anywhere else: early-loop materials are valuable trade goods, and buying a bottleneck resource can save you an evening of loop building.

  • Island protection is automatic; invite friends to build on your island rather than bridging between claims
  • Falling into the void on a server costs your inventory like any death, so keep graves in mind
  • Check player shops before hand-crafting anything tedious; someone has automated it already

When you are ready for more

Once your island produces more than you consume, you have beaten the skyblock part of the pack; everything after that is ATM10 with a better origin story. Head to our ATM10 progression guide for the mid and endgame arc, and to the ATM Star guide when you are ready to start the pack's final project.
