How to Join an ATM10 Server (Step-by-Step)

All The Mods 10 is the latest entry in the flagship kitchen-sink modpack series — 400+ mods bundled into one progression-rich experience. Joining a public ATM10 server takes about 10 minutes if you already have a Minecraft account. This guide walks you through every step, from installing a launcher to typing chat on the SiriusMC ATM10 server.

What you need before you start

Joining an ATM10 server needs three things: a Minecraft Java Edition account, a modpack launcher that supports ATM10, and a modern computer with at least 8 GB of RAM. The modpack itself is heavy — we recommend allocating 6–8 GB to Minecraft for a smooth experience.

  • Minecraft Java Edition account (Bedrock will not work — ATM10 is Java-only)
  • A modpack launcher: CurseForge App, FTB App, Prism Launcher, or ATLauncher
  • 8 GB+ of system RAM (16 GB strongly recommended)
  • A stable internet connection for the initial download (~1.5 GB)

Step 1: Install a modpack launcher

The easiest launcher for ATM10 is the CurseForge App — it is the default way to install the pack. If you prefer a fully free and open-source option, Prism Launcher also supports CurseForge modpacks and works identically once set up.

  1. Download CurseForge App from curseforge.com/download/app
  2. Install it and sign in with a Microsoft account (the same one that owns your Minecraft license)
  3. When prompted, click Minecraft as the game you want to manage

Step 2: Install All The Mods 10

  1. In the CurseForge App, go to Browse Modpacks
  2. Search for "All the Mods 10" (note the article "the" is lowercase in the official name)
  3. Click Install on the result that matches the version our server runs (check the SiriusMC ATM10 server page for the exact version)
  4. Wait for the download to finish — first install pulls down the full modpack and about 1.5 GB of mods
Make sure the version you install matches the server version exactly. If the server is on ATM10 v2.40 and you install v2.41, the server will refuse your connection.

Step 3: Launch ATM10 and allocate memory

Before you launch, bump up the memory allocation — ATM10 is RAM-hungry and will lag or crash with the default 3 GB.

  1. In the CurseForge App, find All The Mods 10 in your Modpacks list
  2. Click the three-dot menu and pick Settings > Java
  3. Set Allocated Memory to 6144 MB if you have 8 GB of RAM, or 8192 MB if you have 16 GB+
  4. Close Settings and click Play

Step 4: Add the SiriusMC ATM10 server

  1. On the Minecraft title screen, click Multiplayer
  2. Click Add Server
  3. Set the server name to "SiriusMC ATM10" (or anything you want)
  4. In Server Address, paste the IP from our ATM10 server page
  5. Click Done and then double-click the new server entry to join

Troubleshooting

Most join problems come down to version mismatch or memory. If the server refuses your connection, check that your ATM10 version matches the server. If Minecraft crashes on launch, increase allocated memory in launcher settings.

  • "Outdated client/server" — your modpack version does not match the server
  • "Connection refused" — the server may be restarting; try again in 60 seconds
  • Crashes on world load — increase allocated RAM to 6–8 GB
  • Long load times are normal — ATM10 has ~400 mods to initialise on first join

What to do once you are in

Read the server rules via /rules, look at the spawn area, and find a claim spot before you start building. We recommend reading our ATM10 starter base guide next — it covers what to build first so you are not stuck in a dirt hut on night three.
