Minecraft 1.12.2 is widely considered the peak of modded Minecraft. It is the version that hosts most of the all-time-classic mods — Thaumcraft, Botania, Tinkers Construct, Industrial Foregoing, Draconic Evolution and the original IndustrialCraft 2 experimental builds — many of which never got proper updates to newer Minecraft versions. If you grew up on FTB Infinity, Sky Factory 3, Project Ozone, or All The Mods 3, you are looking for a 1.12.2 server.
The 1.12.2 Pack on our server is a kitchen-sink modpack designed for long-running multiplayer worlds. It pairs the classic tech and magic mods with land claims, an in-game economy and quality-of-life mods like JEI and Sophisticated Backpacks. Performance is heavily tuned for multiplayer — 1.12.2 chunk loading is finicky if not configured properly, and ours has been dialled in over years of operation.
